:)
In my opinion it's very good hybrid camera for enthusiasts and not pro users.
Very funny to read how people complain why it's not mini A9 for the 1400$ )))
Sansara never change ha-ha )))
I think it's interesting that Sony doesn't closely relate their FF and APS-C products. They follow a different design ethos and different feature lists. I suspect it has something to do with the dual heritage of Cybershot and KonicaMinolta. with the two product lines being developed by independent teams from each heritage. In any case, the A6700 looks like a solid product.
i watched Tony Northrup utube review on the a6700 and its a very refined camera, auto focus is first class. i own both the a74 and a6300 so i cant see any replacements for me anytime soon though.
I don't find information on ptonots to photos about sensor in 6700\fx30, but all state of the art sensors made by sony, and may be for top sensor better to look at A7r-m5 sensor:
Donald, is it about the sensor not being "state of the art", or just about the sensor size?
Take 2 shots with an X-T5 and see how the result compares with an ILCE-7RM5.
My definition of Photographic Dynamic Range is a low endpoint with an SNR of 20 when adjusted for the appropriate Circle Of Confusion (COC) for the sensor.
For me this was first time encountering this PDR thing too.
It still doesn't tell you what it represents, just what Bill's definition is. And why you'd want a SNR of 20 in the deep shadows is beyond me. Something like 2 does just fine.
