I have a G12 that has been converted to IR; a couple of weeks ago, I dropped it off a shelf, and upon the first quick check, it seemed OK, but I later found an issue with the LCD. When I view the screen in any mode, the image will sometimes be OK, filling the screen, then it will only show half the image, sometimes left, sometimes right side, and other times I see a small part of the image on both sides of the screen and the middle is all black. It also seems to be resetting every time I shut it off.
I can take photos, and they look fine when I view them on the computer.
I will try taking it apart to check it out and see if I can find anything, but not sure what I am looking for.
