    Loud and clear. I have read somewhere more or less those exact words.

    It's the day after Halloween so I cooked up a more conservative version.

    Portrait of A Dragon

    My final attempt - mixer brush paint over a crop of just the dragon. 5 different brushes, 2 for background, 2 for dragon and 1 for the flying leaves.Then one texture.
    All I added was the pupil in his eye, he looked so weird without one.

    If it were not for the "no object addition or replacement is allowed" rule, the sky part is crying out for a big Transylvania-style castle to match the grotesque figures, I reckon.

    Wow, you manged to make that completely superfluous roof into organic part of the image!

    Hey people, there is only 24 hours left for uploading your visions of those lovely creatures!

    Europe (and rest of the world), stop voting now!

    And we have a clear winner - it is @minniev with really artistic interpretation of one (not so sheepish looking) wooden sheep.

    Congratulations!

    Waiting for your next image with great interest now :)

    As it has become the tradition, I'll add some comments on presented edits.
    To conserve valuable screen space (and to save some trees) I won't include images here.

    @AlanSh
    Your first attempt at different sky is interesting, but a bit too alien - they are earthly creatures, after all. I hope.

    @finnan
    Interesting viewpoint and very realistic processing, sheep's set into center of attention - and she's really up to something no good, as you named your image.
    Best viewed on full screen.

    @NCV
    Total conversion from day to night:) In your version texture and material of wooden sculptures is very clear and natural - and somehow again the sheep steals attention; maybe this can be attributed to sculptures author too, not only to editor :)

    @AlanSh
    Your second sky is perfect match to creatures appearance, very well spotted! This image is one of my favourites in current contest - even if it initially seemed to violate some rules :)

    @minniev
    What to say...
    I once heard a story about chef and photographer. (I hope the point won't be lost in my translation.)

    In one small city there lived chef and photographer, both masters of their arts. At one evening chef was visiting photographer, they sat and talked, photographer showed his last images to chef.
    While leaving, chef said "How magnificent images, you must have got really good camera!". Photographer just smiled.
    At one other evening photographer was visiting chef, they sat and talked and ate dinner, prepared by chef. After the meal photographer said "How delicious food, you must have got really superior kitchenware!".

    In the same vein - you must have got really superior tools to process and edit images ;)
    Oh, and of course it is all about sheep, again :)

    @Vahur
    Very distinctive edit and color combination - it is like your skipped few months from October into January or so. Creatures are now blue, which suits them very well (especially the monkey at the left).

    @xpatUSA
    I would say your approach is antagonistic to most other users - they wanted to make creatures lighter, you instead made them into silhouettes.
    Good idea, just the original image was not ideally suited for this (creatures are not separate enough).

    @Maoby
    Much likeable 'aged-newspaper' style, which suits main subjets (old wooden sculptures) very well. Another favorite for me!

    @minniev
    Perfect execution of 'old-style photo', including faded-out borders and corners; additionally you managed to get rid of unneeded roof and make sculptures composition whole.

    @Vahur
    Different pair of creatures spotted (should I mention the sheep?) in somewhat strange perspective.
    This image reminds me illustrations of old local edition of 'Alice in Wonderland' - similar distorted look, as the entire scene is transforming somewhere, like it happens in dreams.
    Faded colors also help to create such dream-like impression.

    @minniev
    Yellow dragon, a bit of softer side, coated with autumn leaves, perfectly processed as always - one of the very few edits without the *** sheep :)

    @Maoby
    And yet another dragon (or is it just a snake?), this time looking much more serious and older. Like I have already said above, you managed to use the roof as organic part of the image - instead of removing or cutting it away.

    To you all - thank for such a wonderful gallery of ideas and images!

    I have got a problem now - need to re-process some images of other sculptures from the same garden... :)
