It says this post has been up for 14 hours, Andrew. I've looked several times today and didn't see it. There's just something about the GUI here that makes me feel senile.

I like these pictures. You caught them working hard and it shows in these. I also like your pictures of the instruments. The bass player has a bass like Paul McCartney plays. I'm glad he's not playing left handed. That would be spooky.
I almost ate a puck. This one with M1.1 and Leica D 25mm Summilux Rich

Ditto Rich Zs comments. The instruments make great images, Andrew. Your up and about I see, so hope all the old age 'injuries' are ok

A new or older hockey image Rich Z. Don't eat pucks! They are hard on any teeth you may have left!

That guitar does look quite similar to McCartney's Hofner. I started with a Hofner auditorium style acoustic guitar in the mid sixties. I bought it off my uncle. In the mid 70's I bought an Ovation custom balladeer from my former brother in law. I was with him when he purchased the guitar prior to his marriage in 72. It sounded better than a Martin that cost twice as much. I still have the Ovation and a Fender 12 string acoustic guitar. I have not attempted to play either for about 30 years now. Both have sentimental value so I have not sold them. I never was much of a player and my vocals are even worse. I can not begin to describe how much I wanted to have musical talent! It was not to be!

    Thanks Rich (Belg.)

I am still in pain, just not nearly as much! Off to get an MRI at 1:40 a.m. in a clinic about 1.5 h from home in the early hours after midnight tonight. Booked a hotel to stay in prior and after the test. We will go out to some antique stores about a half hour from there today to make the most of the day. Dinner out hopefully someplace nice as well.

How is the remodel coming??? Got finished images yet or still in progress. Inquiring minds want to know!

Sure it's because of the GUI? 😄

I like the next last best, Andrew. Like the contrast between the wood and all the electronics.

Charlotte, I like the two monochromes best, but I do also like that one!

    Thanks Rich.

Any joy I had for Canada Day has been dimmed by dimwits! Past atrocities against native peoples well into the 20th century that I learned about only a couple of years ago and documented and on display at the Museum of History in Hull had me in tears and I had to make my way out of that area of the museum hurriedly. That and the idiots savant that think their rights trump the majority and they should not have been excluded from things for refusing to get vaccinated etc. They continue to drive around the country with Canadian flags flying from their vehicles supposedly to indicate that they are trying to uphold the freedom rights of Canadians. I can not look at a Canadian flag now without wondering about the reason, real support and pride for being Canadian or a cult member having upsurped the flag for their own meaning. Flags flown on government building are fine but one on an individuals house, well who knows! Two on a car or more likely a pickup are likely to indicate a cult member. Covid brought more than death and illness it would seem.

Anyway, thanks again for the wishes. It is appreciated. Soon it will be July 4th! I will have to see if I have some American old appropriate cars to show.

All of that same stuff going on here, too, Andrew. The Native Americans would likely have been better off facing invaders from Mars than invaders from Europe. The Martians would likely not have killed for land possession and money. Some of the flags on trucks here are not U.S. flags, but Confederate battle flags. Either one is likely a reactionary lowlife. And, we have the added insult of fireworks on our independence day. Those glorify killing in a war started by rich guys in the colonies who wanted to control where the money went.

All these holidays are good for is an excuse to barbecue and swill beer and I don't need an excuse for that. It was great as a kid because my Dad made his own fireworks and that was fun. He made a carbide bomb in an old one pound coffee can with the press on lid which would make a big flash and explode hard enough to rattle windows for a block distant. The lid would stay on the ground and the can would fly far up in the air.

In short, you and I feel much the same about our independence days. sine die. Rich
