DPReview says you can get a download of your data here: www.dpreview.com/data-download
Has it worked for anybody? I got an email confirming I had made the request 9 days ago, but nothing since.

Some have as they've posted on DPR, but I asked for mine on the second day and nothing so far!. 23 years worth might be too much for them :-) Think I'll just give up and just post away here instead of worrying about it too much.
Danny.
I received the link yesterday. The zip file contains 4 .json files:
Here is my first post to the old Minolta forum when I was thinking about buying an A5:

I requested my data on the 23rd, received it yesterday. No forum embedded images were returned.
Just one image from my small gallery. LMAO
The .json files are not very user friendly, but it’s all there, from day one.
I’ve been storing and hosting my photos with Slug and Emily at pbase.com since 1999
Got mine yesterday, went to spam...
A large task like this will have been assigned to more than one person, so some to-do piles may move faster than others.
For those of you dilly dallying, be aware…
You must request your data before April 6th
My first posts on DPR were back in 2003. Honestly, for me personally, I don’t care what I said. It was 20 years ago. In 2003 I said a bunch of things every day in email at work and I don’t care to try to retrieve that either. When I switch email providers over the years, I didn’t try to download all of my “sent” email in order to prInt or archive.
I think that it’s great that DPR is trying to get folks copies of their words from the ether for the last 20-years. But I am not one who is asking for same.
Me too. So, be sure to peek at your SPAM folder.
I asked for the download, but substantially agree: I don't care that much. BTW: old posts isolated by the interaction context are likely to result meaningless, most of the times.
I received a reply where they just say they received my request and will provide. And I found it in the SPAM, too! It looks like anything coming from anywhere near Amazon is thrown to spam by gmail. Very clever!
Yes, I got what I asked for. It is not as easy to read but once I figured it out, I was able to see it.
They say it could take up to 45 days to receive the info. I just registered to get my severance package lol
Mine too.
Got mine and it too went to spam. A disaster trying to read directly. I read thru maybe 30 posts and then stopped because I saw no point in going further thru my 22,000 posts in just over 20 years.
could you upload they inside a zip here or mail to me. see dprevived.com/t/dpr-data-download/797/#post-6791
I received it last Saturday but it went into Spam folder and only noticed it was there today.
I know today is the last day, but I also had not received mine. I went there just now and was able to make the request again. Today, the page loaded correctly and I received an acknowledgement when I made the request. If anyone else has not yet received their data, you might want to do it again today, just in case.
I'm also still waiting for the email, asked for it the same day the announcement was made....
I got a confirmation mail (went to spam) on 29.03.2023 but no download so far
