Possibly, but it depends on how tight his blinders are cinched. Me thinks very tight...as in political hothead. But there's me speculating again.

I would never characterize myself as going down a rabbit hole. To me the term strongly implies a fantasy (it after all, is an allusion to Alice in Wonderland). If I were you, I would call it getting into the weeds.

Your closed mind is fully on display. What did you call that? Oh yes, being an ostrich.

I'm definitely having a bit of fun. Thanks for the entertainment.

In the real world I refrain from discussing politics with strangers, or trying to proselytize. I have simply learned from a young age that understanding history from an economic perspective explains a lot about the present.

Yes, like when I spent half an hour or so working on a detailed response about how women have participated in hunting and warfare for as long as those things have existed and that there's nothing in their genes to controvert that, and then having a moderator blithely erase it as if we were living in an Orwellian universe (ahem, DPR). As for the metaphor, it is apt, and begs the question, shouldn't we be trying to see rather than gouge?

I suspect that you're working under a different definition of 'Marxist' from his.
Then again, it's intriguing to think that a Marxist would be particularly susceptible to being brainwashed by the capitalist US main-stream media.

It was Communism. No bosses. 😉

    Here you said:

So now you claim that you didn't say that. How am I supposed to interpret that?

If it had no particular scientific value then no science has been harmed by editors deciding not to use it. The aim of scientific journals is to advance science, not to promote popular images. Nothing to see here.

Only two things have happened throughout history:

    1) People were not equal.
    2) People were equal but some were "more equal" than others.

We've been living in (2) for some time, now.
