Marketing what a scam it is today

Heres what happened the other day. my 4 yold laptop keyboard started playing up and i couldnt remap the keys so i had to buy a new laptop. i only use it when im away in my caravan and didnt want an expensive machine just mid range. so a HP was on sale for $600 down from $1100. 8 gig ram 512 memory and I5 processor. i thought you beauty good specks so i took it home site un seen from the shop as they didnt have it on display. got home fired it up after 2 hours of self configuration. and the screen was terrible ,i mean unusable i couldnt calibrate the screen at all. so after some extensive research on the net the screen was only 6 bit 45% rgb WTF 🤔 i viewed a bird image and the branches of a tree where black not brown, even the default screen saver was banding 🤣 i took the laptop back and complained and the sales guy said every computer under 1k has 6 bit screens now in that price range ,i nearly fell over. so he recommended a beautiful little acer with oled 2.8k screen 16 gig ram 512 ssd and the latest ultra 5 processor. it was on special for $900 down from $1700 its a bit over the top for my needs but its nice and fast now i discovered by default that the whole system wants to back up to my one drive. only took me 2 days to figure it out as my old laptop was way faster 😂😁
