I have received the link yesterday to download my data spanning 18+ years.
Is there or will there be an option to migrate the data into this forum?

What is included in your data? Is it your posts, gallery images, images within posts etc?
What format is your data in. Is it JSON format data as some members have received?

I have not downloaded the data as yet and will only do so if it would be useful?
I have deleted all my photos that were uploaded to my gallery so I expect the info would be data from my posts. -
You’d have to think about how much work would be involved in building an importer for this data, right now it’d just be for forum posts as this site doesn’t have other features or sections yet. I’ve not bothered getting the archive myself, but assuming it only contains your posts, how would this site re-create forum threads you’ve posted to without all the other members data?
It sounds like the old site is going to remain as an archive, so anyone wanting to refer back to it could do so there, or through other archiving efforts such as archive.org etc

I have made my decision, downloaded my data info from DPReview and then deleted the data files from my computer. Hopefully it’s all now gone from digital access.
