Monthly Photo Thread

Hi everybody. David who posted on the "Show Your Pictures" thread has started a monthly photo thread, beginning with the month of May. We have been talking about it separately.

So next week I will not start another weekly "Show Your Pictures" thread, so that we don't compete with each other. I'll be posting on the "May" thread starting next Monday and will try to respond to all your photos as I've done in the past. It's in a new category for all Canon cameras and the category is called "Your Canon Photos". I don't know if he would keep this open for all camera brands and models. You could ask him.

We all know for the Canon brand, there are many different P&S, bridge, crop & full frame DSLR and mirrorless cameras. We all could being using more than one of these at one time, so it makes sense to show pictures that include all of them.

Let me know your thoughts.

David clarified that the monthly thread in the "Your Canon Photos" category will be open to all camera brands. So we are all good. :-)

Just to let you know that a monthly pictures thread has also started in the Sigma Camera Talk category but is only open for Sigma stuff.

Hi Dunlin!

It seemed to me that there i at present not a large enough number of participants to justify a new thread each week. If that changes, we can have one a week. (Or one a day, if warranted!)

But, please participate and celebrate each new week with the rest of the gang.

Hello all, I am glad I was able to track you all down again. I have been very fortunate, to be spending time with 9 different eagles (6 sub adults) at a very small lake near my home. Unfortunately they have been fishing about 100 to 250 yards away so haven't gotten that wow shot yet. But I am enjoying my time with them. Looking forward to all your great photos.

It's nice to hear from you. Your BIFs are always spectacular. Were the juvenile eagles fishing? As Dunlin and Steve had said, we moved the Show Your Pictures threads to another location. We hope to see you over there. 😀

Also we can show you how to embed your photos and change the avatar if you want...please let us know. I wrote a program in MS Word to identify key EXIF data. I can give that to anyone if they do a little programming and want to modify it for their own use.
