    The photo was quite well known in Australia. This version is deliberately below full size and not at highest resolution. I'd rather not have it copied.
    The men were erecting street signs.

    Did the Tower influence your camera horizon or was that deliberate?

    I think the horizon is about right. The tower of course is the Leaning tower of Pisa and I think the angle is about right (as it was in 1974). Whether or not the street sign is vertical (it was being set into concrete) is the subject of the discussion.

    Understood. That horizontal bit below the cherubs at lower right is about 3 degrees off, for what it's worth so the sign pole is about right, I reckon.

    There is a pretty nice interaction between the two people in this shot, that does make this a good street shot.

    you should have posted it in the "your so vain thread". ive never seen it in australia and ive been here all of 63 years.

    You got this weird distortion going on -- the pole is vertical, but the building behind is all tilted. You can correct that with software. 😂
