No one has started a weekly thread for several weeks, so I'll begin one and follow the title style from previous weeks in June. I've taken few photos, as I'm occupied processing DP2Merrill and DP3Merrill photos from a 2015 trip in the Colorado area on an archaeological tour. Husband and I are going back there in September, so I wanted to study my previous settings and photos. Here is a DP2Merrill from Chaco Canyon in New Mexico

I was deliberately shooting at ISO200 even in strong light in order to keep my shutter speeds up for hand-holding the cameras. I let the cameras choose the aperture, as this was a situation of 'speed shooting' while following an archaeologist and small tour group around the ruins. These are medium sized JPEGS posted here. Interesting that the 50mm DP3M looks "wider" than the 30mm DP2M, thereby illustrating the significant effect of shooting distance ...

Interesting observation. I want to look at the time sequence of those photos when I'm next in SPP. I recall I was shooting the cameras interchanging one for another, but note those 2 were probably not taken simultaneously. For the DP3Merrill I was near the excavated ruins shooting down and out to the horizon. Those cliffs in the DP2M are in a different area of Chaco Canyon.

To the rear of where I was standing for the DP3M was the cliff that had experienced a significant rock fall, I recall in the 20th century after excavation.

Understood. They looked like different shooting distances on my monitor, that difference giving the appearance of a wider shot but actually by the longer lens.
