It's good to have my weekends free, again. With all the snow and rain northern Arizona has gotten this winter, we're seeing more raptors, waterfowl and shorebirds than in the last few years. If Arizona Game & Fish restocks the lakes wth trout, we should see a good population of ospreys and even a few eagles this summer.
This morning, I spent a few hours in the Tragopan V6 and made this photo of a passing rough-legged hawk winging its way along the rim overlooking Mormon Lake...which is actually a lake, right now :)
