Wow - that's really spectacular. Love the incredible impact the strong shadows have on that rough terrain. Very well seen and captured! I don't have any experience with it - does a mono sensor help with that or can it be attributed to the additional experience and expertise you get in imagining things in B&W?

I'm a B&W guy. I spent years doing B&W in all sorts of formats. After all this time I see in B&W. I also have muscle memory as to what a given filter will do to the final image. The image in question was taken using a number 15 filter (dark yellow). The Q2 M is a nice camera. The monochrome sensor gives some advantages - other than just resolution. The gradation of tones are smoother for example. The noise is lower and if they're more resembles film grain than interpolated blobs from the demoasicing process. Of course there is not color noise or false color. However, I think I just see better in B&W and many images cry for B&W.
