Good morning everyone, I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the first Street Photography thread there were a wide variety of beautiful captures. I am struggling to reply to all of them due to my personal issues, but I am glad to see many of our members were active; this is very encouraging.

    The Weekly Street Photography Thread
Welcome to the street photography weekly thread. We start it on Fridays. We are hoping to get your images and hear what other members think about them.
It is open to all members of the forum; members can post a single image or a selection of images on a theme in a single post. Multiple posts are not allowed.
What constitutes street photography has always been debatable. There are several opinions about it, and we do not want to restrict participants. You can post whatever you deem fits into the genre; however, please be prepared to hear criticism as well.

    Guidelines:
    1. We aim to increase the popularity of street photography and encourage our fellow photographers to be more interested in the genre.
    2. Give your photo a title and include any other information you think is relevant. I personally love to know why you made this photo, what attracted you to make it, and why you like it. But this is NOT MANDATORY.
    3. A single image or a theme-based group of images are allowed. No multiple posts, please.
    4. If you post an image, that means you are ready to hear feedback.
    5. We want to hear your thoughts about others’ posts.
    6. Please keep all posts civilised and polite.
    7. Unless specifically stated otherwise by the original poster, please do not modify the images.

    Red and blue.
There was a Cancer Research organised run in central London. I wasn’t aware of it until I arrived. A woman and a statue gave me an opportunity to create a balanced and reasonably interesting composition.

I like the picture. The person in red is obviously NOT going on the run. I'd love to know who Beatty was.

Many of my photos in Cuba were taken from some sort of moving and often bumpy conveyance: a car, a bus, or a horse drawn cart. So they are from angles I'd never have chosen or been able to get on foot. This one was shot through a dirty scratched up bus window. When I have time on my hands and bad weather, I go back and try to make some sense of old shots that were of questionable value at first glance. I wonder if others do this too.

I didn't notice the guy sitting down till I zoomed in. I wonder what he thinks of it all?

    ¡Hola!
An interesting image. As you say, a good balance in the composition, bright colors (red, blue… and yellow), and two figures who share a serious expression and distant gaze. Perhaps I'd crop it to three-quarters, especially removing the lower part...

Despite being only partially visible, the classic car and colonial architecture make it clear where we are, and the blue color spread throughout the image helps to unify it. The elevated viewpoint and vertical format work very well in this case...

    A little “siesta”.

Not even close to street photo, but since the park is in the city, I'll put it here.

Continuing from last week's collection of photos from the pride parade in munich, here's another set.
Again, I just absolutely adore the burst of vibrant colours and everyone's joy and the sense of community.

I think these pictures get across that pride is both a place of expression, but also a protest.

    Florian's...

...is the oldest and most prestigious cafe in Venice, reputedly patronised by Casanova after his escape from the nearby prisons. It's also shockingly expensive. On cold December evening I just soaked up the warmth from outside 😁

Now that's an accurate representation of a bachelorette party. I love how you managed to capture the fun and unbridled joy of a the occasion, as well as the typical level of intoxication.
The purple really pops anf the hands and face being the only bits in focus, really helps give the image some stability. I also quite enjoy thr hair coverong her eyes. Great shot!

It is a very nice composition. It has a depth that pulls my eyes from the car, to the first person and later to architecture and finally the other man. Nice, subtle tones present tones with pretty details of buildings and a splash of red. It really works for me.

You caught a nice moment. I liked the composition and BW conversion too.
