Thanks for that info. I took a look at that route on OSMaps, it's probably achievable with my current reduced fitness as there's not too much altitude gain involved, but it's probably on the limit of what I currently manage in terms of distance. While looking around on the 3D view I did spot Dufton Pike and that definitely looks like it's got some potential for a good day out.

Thanks Steve, I love Panasonic cameras, they are reliable and good value for money. Actually, I was going to buy a Q3 but it was no available and bought this camera and another X100V. So S5 + X100V will be my street kit. Q3 would have been a better option for street photography but it was not available and Leica really p!$$₮d me off.
Yes it was a candid shot, they were hugging and kissing. I took a few shots and liked this most because it reflects their emotions. I like this kind of shots most, showing emotions unfiltered particularly with faces and body language.

    Especially like these two.
Your Macros are really good, Interesting, bold compositions of everyday objects.
Bright and colourful, with sharp details where needed and lots and lots of smooth bokeh in the rest of the image :-)
A joy to look at !

This is a very good one, composition, colours. I must say that I would have cloned the cable as I am a bit OCD :)

Thanks! As you can see from file name, it was processed with DXO and Nik plugins. In DXO I reduced microcontrast, from Nik I used Color Efex Pro plugin's Foliage filter to enhance greens and Glamour Glow to add dreamy look + some other minor adjustments, this is probably my 10th trial. Went with postprocessing bit overboard but once in a blue moon it's allowed :P
Unfortunately went out without fully equipped and had only 300 mm and 7-14, should have had 12-40 or 12-100 to get better framing and composition. Oh well, maybe next time...

Nice view. Is this shot with filter? There seems to be vignetting in corners.

Nice night life scenes. Though 2nd and 3rd are suffering bit from camera movement, shutter speed too slow?

I think you probably need to use the "Quote" button or mention the author of the post you're replying to like this: @Vahur

Otherwise no one will be able to see who/what you're reffering to!

D’oh! Thanks for reminding, I keep forgetting it, old habits from other forum die hard.
Though it seems also issue with forum software, it should at least show to which person reply was when replying without quotes.

I know I am out of line here; but, arrestingly clever though it is, this picture worries me. Black and white photography is generally not for me, though I admire some monochrome photos. The problem I have with this one is in disentangling the statue from the building. Maybe it would work better if a distinction were made by colour. I also find that I am too close to the statue to see it all. Are they on a bicycle, or what?

    Just my opinion, fwiw.

Thank you so much - that's really kind! Like your shots as well! The Soča valley one is wonderful for example. Do you have some more from that trip?

Here are three more shots with quite different lenses:

(It's no accident btw. but rather an example of a 'Completely out of focus shot', which I recently created a thread for here:
