The first two are like spacial opposites, both lead the eye into the photgraph but one with a solid structure, the other with empty space.
As for the last, I can't work out if that door is tiny with big steps or a double width door.

Handsome creatures. The first has the sense of noise and bustle that these flocks create.

Beautiful shot. Gloucester cathedral cloisters are some of the finest in the country, and nowadays famous as a 'Harry Potter' location. I remember standing on the steps just to your left to sing for our choir master and his wife who had just been married in the cathedral choir. Happy memories.

Apparently it's the boiler from the SS Monomoy, an iron steamship wrecked in 1896 at Marwick Bay, Orkney

The door is tiny, just over a metre high. It must be fun going in and out of that door.

This one for me, nice and dynamic.

I voted on the other post BTW.

    Good idea.

It's simple enough to select the pelican and flip it horizontally in Ps. I'll post back shortly 🙂

Yes, I agree. It does look better straightened.

Dead Oak against a Foveon blue sky ... some years later, it fell right over the north driveway:

The Hay Wain by John Constable ,...
... was painted over 200 years ago, here's a link to the original painting from the "Country life" magazine in Internet.
Two days ago Willy Lott's cottage in the village of Flatford was still looking good, the trees have changed a bit but the river and the clouds are still there.
A pity that the Hay Wain has moved on :-)

The fields and river bank were a bit tidier back in Constables time!

ISTR Yaelle (formerly of this parish) once took the same shot. What stikes me is that JC seems to have taken some liberties with the width of the cottage.
Nice job though and interesting to see. I bet there is a constant stream of people waiting to get in that one spot.
