The downside of using a phone is one generally has to hold it up to the face so is not as discreet as a waist-level shot with a camera.
Were you out protesting too?
;-)
No, I would loved to have joined them. But, I haven't the faintest idea of what they were protesting against.
I did protest loudly, this morning when the Hospital told me they had no slots for a check up I have to have, until August 2025. After enquiring if I was now living in Zimbabwe rather than Italy. I asked about the Hospitals private scheme. I got an appointment for Monday. Same Doctors. Same State run Hospital.
It is, but we are starting to have problems with waiting lists for non critical problems in hospital. Health service "private" is quite cheap, €120 for some audiometric tests, so once you get an appointment all is still good.
It wasn't shot through glass or a window. The pedestrian overpass is open to the elements with just waist high rails on both sides.
The colours casts are artificial and added in post. The smog/pollution in Shanghai wasn't too bad that day but still made the scene look not quite right to my liking originally in post.
I played around with various colour grading (mainly colour gradients with layer masks) aiming to create at least an interesting image without necessarily maintaining reality with the lighting.
