Lucky you ! We have foxes around, but they usually are difficult to see, only sometimes by night while driving... Also they are often getting killed by hunters, that's not helping for photography :(

It was shot hand held, with all the problems you encounter on a guided tour.

I think I've seen this image? Anyway, great shot. It must be exhausting to most to climb it with such sunny weather and rest at top is well deserved.

All images taken with the GFX100S + 45-100 + CPL on a tripod and processed from individual raw files in Capture One Pro 23.

I don't really have any titles for these, they're all just trying to capture the mood of the woods.

This has long been a favourite spot in these woods. It's taken from a reasonably steep slope that leads out of the oldest part of the woods and into the pinewood plantation higher up the hill. There used to be a fallen tree lying across the wall, which you can still see part of towards the right hand side, but a large part of it finally collapsed and fell off, so it's no longer the great subject it used to be, unfortunately.

Bad luck, eh? Spring is probably one of finest times to photograph and missing it is really bad.
Nice shots, this green/red-brown combination is something not often found here, so it was interesting to see. And these woods, I'm sure that places like this are ents' habitats...

Well, this just happened! A fox in my garden in the middle of the afternoon. I'm not sure if this is quite a common sight for those of you who live in small countryside villages or more rural areas, but in more than 30 years in this house, this is the first time I've seen one in my garden and, as an added bonus, I had my Z8 (more or less) to hand, already fitted with the right lens and the configured for photographing animals as I'd been out this morning photographing my friends dogs as a bit of a test for my new 70-180mm f/2.8 zoom, so it was good to go the moment I saw the fox (well, I had to pop the memory card and battery back in, but otherwise it was ready for action).

Note these are taken through double glazing that could do with a bit of a clean. I think they still look pretty good, but the lens is really quite excellent with just air between it and its subject, even at f/2.8.

Nice shots.Seems like your fox is not first time around as seems to be quite confident and fearless there.

Really nice, they look adorable. Is this 200 dogs all different or are same dogs shot again? If they all are newcomers then it's lot of abandoned dogs...

Are you asking about 17 mm lens? It's old one, goes well with this camera (or OM-5 I had previously). Only downside is that it's not weather sealed so I'm hesitating to take it out in rain or snow. But I have also 17 mm f1.2 so instead of buying new version of 17 mm I'm thinking of buying new 25 mm f1.8 to use it with OM-3 to get "normal" viewing angle and use it as big pocket combination in rain.

Yep, it can be tiring , especially when hot, always a good idea to take enough water :-)

I find the the Z105 f/2.8 focuses slowly on my Z7, does it focus faster on the Z8 ?
When I say slow, I mean it is slower than the old AF/S 105mm F/2.8 on my old D7100 and/or on the Z7.
So that I've missed more shots of things like fast moving bees with the Z7 + Z105.

Yes, I recently bought a Z8. I have had the 105, for a couple of days. I have used it for static subjects, but it seems to focus quickly enough for what I have done. I have mostly been playing with focus stacking, which is incredible. I need to use it a bit more to form an opinion, but it seems to focus at the same speed as my other Z lenses.

The Z8 is a great camera that I prefer in many ways to the Z7, but I will keep a lighter Z7 for hiking, as it is quite weighty.
