Yikes, those are some exceptional fish pictures. I know how hard it could have been to get these, since I've tried to capture big fish of my own and the timing is really hard to manage. These are very nice, and you captured the free spirit of the beast especially in the first one where he is leaping out of the water with such force. Well done!

These are quite solid documentary images of the small planes on the runways. I don't think brightness is much of an issue. If there's an inch or two on the right side of either/both of them, I'd add it back in, so that little edges of the wing are not clipped. I've taken a few shots of crop dusters and floatplanes that are close to this size, and if you have a chance at multiple shots it's fun to use different shutter speeds to get different effects on the propellers (from stock-still to invisible and steps in between) then you can pick your favorites later. Look forward to your spending more time with us here!

I agree. These are worthy of illustrations for a book on Hemingway.

I'll join Minniev in welcoming you here.
I usually post more comments, but my connection is a bit iffy and time limited, while travelling.

Thanks Rich. I usually put too much stuff in the frame but sometimes I do go in the opposite direction. With a sunset like that, everything is pretty.

    Thank ya, Cube.

    Appreciate, Chris

You are too kind. I often feel I'm grasping at broken straws to find things to photograph!

Thank you, I thought the colors, though fierce, were too nice to alter.

Thank you! I feel like I'm always struggling to make something out of nothing. Where I live is pretty bereft of landscape photography opportunities.

I can’t remember if the originals have more image. Maybe, I was trying to practice balance as well as motion in an image. I remember thinking I should have used a slower shutter to blur backgrounds to give more sense of motions.

I have a task to reorganize my storage drives next week, hopefully will find where I stored the originals. I have too many portable drives I mass dumb to while on a trip.
