Nice portrait of a lovely reptilian critter with plenty of detail to enjoy. I like the profile angle and all that delightful detail in his "ornaments".

Cute shot. She reminds me of a model on the runway swishing her skirts. I would probably try to clone or crop out the stuff across the top edge of the frame which is a slight eye magnet. Well spotted and caught!

Appreciate the comments. I left the building distorted on purpose, something I seldom do. I usually correct the perspectives. For reasons I can't explain, wide angle distortion sometimes appeals to me and sometimes does not. I kinda liked it here so I kept it.
Thanks Chris. That statue is so enormous I waited for someone to wander into the frame so I could use them for scale. Fortunately this man and his little mop dog showed up. The tiny statue in her hand is over 6 feet tall!
Thanks Mike. The building is a very precise replica, and though I'm not sure about how Greek-descended Nashvillians feel about it in particular, Nashville in general is rather proud of having it. Nashville has always seen itself as an art center, and one of its several nicknames is "Athens of the South". The casts were bought from Britain in preparation for the original exhibition in the late 1800s so they've been here a while. Here's a shot of the casts, which underwent a restoration this year to preserve them, as they had been treated rather casually over the years.
That perspective is as shot, very little editing in that shot. As I told Dan, I left it distorted as it was shot with the widest angle my lens would give me, and I kinda liked the distortion.
Yes, the US is full of surprises. The history of the exhibition this was built for was fascinating. It was far more multicultural than I'd have anticipated, celebrating all the countries, ethnic culture and histories represented in the city's citizenry at that time.

The "lighting" is artificial. I posted the original as well in a later post explaining the bridge blended way too much into the background for my liking. I wanted to highlight it more and try to direct viewers' eyes to it in the version above.
