    Hello, Everyone,

This weekly thread serves as a place for those DPRevived.com members who own Fuji gear to share recent work …… specifically, with their Fuji X APS-C cameras. It's just fine for owners to post images made with their “other” cameras, but the idea is to allow owners with Fuji X APS-C cameras to compare notes, tips, and any other helpful hints.

To contribute your image, please respond to the original thread. Please include at the top your message a title to reflect what you wish to convey. Consider making it somewhat entertaining… it may add some “spice.” In addition to uploading/embedding your image, please tell us a little about the image if you wish. It is helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible. If you can provide details such as camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

If you wish C&C (comments/critique) please indicate that in your post. In this thread it should not be assumed everyone wants C&C. However, if you want specific feedback (composition, exposure, subject, etc.), don’t hesitate to mention it. It may be helpful to respondents what your needs may be.

    Thanks,

    Bob, your humble host

    PS…… Post away!

    Colorful California Wildflowers!

    Hello, Again,

California has received a record amount of rainfall this past season. Soaked ground means great wildflowers. The following image is from the Diamond Valley Lake “wildflower walk” from last Thursday. The reservoir is in Hemet, CA. The main wildflowers in the photo are the signature California Poppy along with some healthy lupine and a tall yellow wildflower the name of which I do not know (could be Yellow Sulphur). So, if anyone out there knows, please let me know. The image was taken mid-afternoon with an X-T5, 16-80/4. Processed with X-Transformer, LR, sharpened with Topaz AI, and downsampled to under 4K with PS.

Hope to see a lot of your images.

    Bob

That’s lovely, Bob. Beautiful wildflowers and a nice backdrop. Brings back great memories of my California days and the wildflowers.

I was playing with the Toy Filter on the X-S10 to answer a question posed on another forum and this happened. I realize the Toy Filter isn’t (necessarily) for toys. I wanted a desktop subject to generate the files for the quick test.

Nice. I got a few birdie pics the other day and may wait until next week to post. Don't have a nice 500mm lens though!

But it came out nice anyway. Just picked up the 70-300 this week and tested it out at a foggy beach. Nice and light... lighter than the 55-200.

Took a long overdue return visit to Portland's Japanese Garden this afternoon and was rewarded with some really beautiful trees in flower as well as an amazing Japanese glass art exhibit. A cherry tree in full flower and examples of the glass art display to share here.

    Springtime in Mom's garden.

I haven't often participated in these weekly threads in the past, but I've got lots of pics kicking around not doing anything, so what the hey...

It's been exceptionally warm and summer-like for this time of year in New England (CT) over the past couple of days. I thought this one captured the mood pretty well...

Good set. My wife and I crossed that bridge or near during a summer trip from Montreal to Mont-Treblant. Then from there we doubled back and traveled to Quebec city. At the time I was shooting an X100.
