I clicked on a few of the links to dive deeper into the whole process , Absolutely amazing, took 17 years to get where they are now, they went though the time line of there development stages. really cool stuff.
Its great reading and looking at the processes over the years, electronics has come a long way from the 70s with 555 timers 7400 series of ICs hex inverters, tipple input nand gates, 8 segment leds and the like. i always remember building a logic probe with sound 😌 was a great tool for when i was building scanners and manipulating the PLL circuits on CB radios for people.

Engineering EUV was anything but simple. ASML invested more than €6 billion in EUV R&D over 17 years. We acquired Cymer – a company specialized in light source technology – to accelerate EUV source development. And once the technology was developed, we had to overcome numerous technical challenges to meet chipmaker’s requirements for high-volume manufacturing.
Usially I don't read threads that has more than 100posts in dprevived. But it's was interesting for me to read last posts and understand state of discussion about forum feature. But In last page I see discussion about EUV litography. May be it's interesting, but nobody will search info about EUV in topic "where we goi from here". As I understand, still there are no idea about site feature. But may be site become better if offtopic management will be better. Thanks.
I wonder if it would be possible to make a "front page" with links to informed articles dispelling a lot of the nonsense that sprouts up on the web regarding photography. It could become a good reference point for folk . And could bump up traffic over time. There are a few excellent writers and very well informed folk amongst your ranks.
Yes, it is one thing we have planned (long term). We don't want the forums to be 'front & centre' - they are just one of the facilities we will be offering.
Sigma forum? I was intending to resume posting in the Sigma forum, but has dprevived discontinued it? I cannot find it. This therad/forum structure is hard to navigate., even for Canon cameras. (My cameras include Canon 5DS too). I enjoyed reading some of the posters in the Canon 5DS forum, but where is that one also?
The sigma forum is still there. I don't understand why you find it hard to navigate. There's basically one forum per manufacturer (if still making cameras). If you'd read the past posts here, you would know that I've combined threads and nothing has been lost.
If someone is not signed in, views are limited. I looked under all forums, didn't see it. All subcategories, didn't see it. Threads, didn't see anything. Finally found a Canon weekly thread to post in , after signing in. Apparently my former sign in cancelled out.
Edited my original post to change wording after I found Sigma forum still exists, but no one has posted recently. You replied to an older wording I believe. Sorry I have not had the opportunities to follow all the discussions here about rearrangements and how - to's.
