I had the original XF56mm but a few things drove me bonkers enough that I had to get rid of it. After much resisting I got the newer 56mm a couple of weeks back. Nothing interesting outside and no ideal weather to make photos, but so far I have briefly tested sharpness and focusing in various lighting situations round the house. Focusing is still noisy but I think I can live with that. Taking it on its first holiday in a couple of weeks time. Looks good on my T5 😍
MFD is reduced to the length of my arm. Much better.
It can see in the dark (hand-held, only light from my laptop's screen.
