Hi Digirame
I can't answer that but I would imagine it has a better chance if it is the newer G2 version. My 100-400 is the G2 version.
Perhaps ask Tamron as they may know if it works.
Sorry I can't be of any real help.
Cheers
Paul

Here's a somewhat unusual looking (because backlit-only) flower shot:
Unreal beauty by simple.joy, on FlickrI often thought that forget-me-nots look somewhat alien (with their little tentacles), when you get really close... so I found it somewhat appropriate!
Brute-force of Nature… No.1 by simple.joy, on Flickr
Love the colours of these.
Think I'll just get me one of these apples.

I like this one, it looks like a Disney scene.
I think the image is slightly foggy and the white balance is a little blue.

Manuel,
You're right. I took that through a bedroom window. I didn't want to scare him him off..
I had the Kelvin temp set at 5600K. I think I could have upped it to the Cloudy setting of about 6000.

It's a lovely shot, Steve; but I think you overdid the green just a tad! 😏

Out driving in my local area. Been raining heavy last days but just arrived in time to capture this
Carry,
Nice local area to be out driving in. 😃

Photobygms,
I like your deer shots, especially the third one.
Ears cocked forward. Eyes expressive and lively.
She hears something. "What is it? Should I be on guard? Should I be prepared to run?
Nice expressive shot.

Carry, that is a most evocative photo, with a remarkable depth of field also, even at a 28mm equivalent FL. Thanks!
David
Photobygms,
I liked seeing how the deer is so attentive. From my experience, their ability to hear sounds is amazing. A very slight noise can send them off running.
CarryLight,
That's a beautiful scene with the clouds and blue sky. Approximately where was that taken?
Steve, I enjoyed seeing your deer.
Spotted this roe deer while visiting Hortus Botanicus Haren (Groningen, The Netherlands)
Very nice indeed.

That's an amazing photo @CarryLight. You can certainly be proud of it.
I've heard good things about the Canon G12. Do you like it?
Thank you kindly David. It was a beautiful day and i was lucky enough to be able to capture the scene in front of me at the time I arrived. Shortly after, there was overcast again. Glad you liked it.
