    Digi,

I was lucky that the windows were clean! I obviously dont take pictures from the car, as I am always the driver!

Yes, the trains here are very comfortable, all electric, very quiet inside, and the tracks are very smooth. Sometimes, in the city, it is hard to tell you are moving when in a tunnel.

Today I went to the car dealership next to the Main Rail Station to make an appointment to have my winter wheels changed to the summer wheels. I didnt actually have to go there, but I wanted the exercise...

On the way out I noticed this:

Very "Mickey Mouse". I wonder who will buy it,

Then back home on the train. I thought those in the USA would like to know that Europe is getting more and more like the US, as shown by this photo: our train stations are morphing into shopping malls.

Note the train hiding on Platform 3 at the top of the photo.

I dont know how that bee got in there; but nobody has noticed him!

Funny. When I looked recently the R6 wasnt on the list. Anyway, I downloaded and installed the program. Not the usual Windows interface. I found that both Canon and Leica raw images load, though I havent managed to do anything with them yet, other than look at them and make them larger/smaller!

I must obviously take time out to RTFM!

Thanks for the heads up, Dunlin!

For some reason, your weather seems to be going up and down in sync with ours this week.

    David,

As you know, those scooters are useful on narrow roadways and are common as a means of transportation in certain parts of the world. Are they not used as much around Vienna? Yes, I've seen these kinds of stores around train stations in London on a YouTube channel.

As you know, I am often in the city, on foot, cycling and in the car, and am amazed that I actually see very few Vespa type motorcycles, apart from people delivering food; but theirs are very low powered. As an old-fashioned cyclist riding a Brompton, I find e-bikes and e-scooters quite threatening. That said, there is a shop that sells and repairs Vespa/Yamaha machines near to where we live, so there must be a market for them.

EDIT: After I wrote the above, I went out in the car and saw several Vesper-type scooters wearing in and out of the traffic. That's always the way, isnt it?

    Dunlin,

This Darktable is proving to be quite a rabbit hole — but a worthwhile one!

I have read less than 20 pages of the manual and already I can see that the developers know what they are doing. I shall have to read more and do experiments to see whether the program is right for me, but at the present I feel good about it. Watch this space for more news of David’s Adventures under the Darktable...
